If Winter brings rain, cold, and grey skies to the South Sound, it also brings the perfect antidote: holiday cheer! Tacoma goes big on Christmas, Hanukkah, and holiday fun in general. Here’s a rundown of some of our favorite holiday events in Tacoma. All of them, it should be said, could be notably enhanced with a dose of another kind of holiday cheer.

Sights (and Lights) of the Season
We love it when certain neighborhoods and commercial strips go all-out on Christmas lights, and nearby Spanaway Park hosts what’s billed as “the largest holiday drive-through display in the Northwest,” Fantasy Lights. Stay in the warmth of your car and be dazzled by the joy of seeming millions of mesmerizing, blinking tiny lights
